The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSE) has issued show-cause notices to 15 teachers and staff for being absent from school without taking leave. They should explain their absence clearly within the next five working days. This information has been informed in the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education circular.

According to the circular, the field-level education officers under the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education are sent to the Secondary Wing from the Monitoring and Evaluation Wing of the Directorate of Maushi, without prior announcement, through digital monitoring systems.

In the inspection report, a total of 15 teachers and employees of different districts were observed to be absent from the school without permission during the inspection.

Those who have been issued show cause notices are – Lokman Hossain and Mohammad Alauddin of Chandpur Uttar Matlab, Assistant Teacher Mehnaz Khatun of Mohammadpur, Magura, Asim Kumar Biswas, Assistant Teacher of Khulna Fultala, Surjit Kumar Roy, Assistant Principal of Biral, Dinajpur, Shaolia Khatun of Durgapur, Rajshahi, Kauchar Ahmed, Dalima Nazreen, Moha, Razzak, Mocha, Fahima Akhter, Zakia Sultana of Sylhet South Surma, assistant teacher Zakia Jannat, assistant teacher Majeda Khatun and Moshammat Mukta, and Birganj of Dinajpur Md. Ayub Ali. Directed to send to Maushi directorate within next five working days regarding unauthorized absence from school with clear reason.
